Teaching Portfolios encourage staff to reflect on their teaching and learning and to
showcase their accomplishments. An electronic portfolio gives life to the Teaching
Portfolio by making it dynamic, engaging, and context relevant.
Features of an electronic
Teaching Portfolio:
• Multimedia artifacts like video and audio
• Store artifacts electronically for immediate access
• Index artifacts for use in different contexts and for
different purposes
• Facilitate ongoing reflection and maintenance in a
living document
• Share electronically to facilitate peer feedback and for Click on embedded icons to
